Rain is the last thing needed this week.
With the progress of the earthworks going "great guns", no pun intended, this rain is going to soak the soil to a point were it becomes unworkable by heavy earth moving equipement.
The last few weeks, the remoulding of the butt stop area has put off all shooting events, then today, with this rain, the time to completion of the earthworks I am sure will be pushed out a week or two.
Let's hope the sunny weather returns quickly to dry the groud under the earthmoving equipment.
One thing for sure, we won't be seeing the road from the club house to the butt stop so boggy again like it was last year.
Let's all remember what it did look like just a short several months ago.
