The first twilight shoot for the 2023/24 season was held today.
The fourteen in attendance faced a savage crosswind in the heat of the day, which fortunately calmed some in the coolness of the night.
Regardless of the early conditions, a number of high scores and pins were recorded throughout all sessions.
The setup of lights in preparation for the event felt strangely unfamiliar, being quiet some time since the last twilight shoot. The new mantle shape made it necessary to move the target lights well forward from where they used to reside. Thanks to Gerard for working through the logic behind the repositioning of the lights.
Thanks to Shane, Leroy and Hamish for being our cooks tonight.
And, of course, thank you to all in attendance for making it a great night.
